Jeffrey J. Gordon

Partner

Jeff is a partner at Yoka | Smtih. His primary practice involves the defense of all types of employment-related lawsuits from inception through arbitration or trial. He also regularly provides counsel to employers regarding day-to-day personnel management decisions, revisions to employee handbooks and policies, wage and hour challenges, complaint investigations, best policies and practices, and compliance with state and federal law.

Jeff has been active in civil litigation for over 25 years. He obtained a defense verdict on behalf of Continental Tire in a four-week trial in Alameda County, Oakland. Jeff has also had tremendous success in pretrial law and motion over his career, obtaining dismissals and judgments in his clients’ favor and thus avoiding the need for further litigation on numerous occasions. Jeff has been selected as a Southern California Super Lawyer by Los Angeles Magazine from 2012 through 2017.
