Kieran Y. Reiser-Shackeroff

Originally from Long Beach, Kieran Reiser-Shackeroff received a Bachelor of Arts in Literature/Creative Writing from UC San Diego in 2020. He then pivoted towards law, signing on as a paralegal with a law firm that handled many liability and environmental issues that occurred along the Port of Long Beach.

Kieran received his Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University in 2025. While in law school, he served as the chief technical editor for the Santa Clara Journal of International Law, Vol. 23. He also volunteered with California Lawyers for the Arts to help provide lawyer referrals to the artistic communities of California.

Kieran joined Yoka | Smith as an associate in 2026 and now works on a variety of negligence and liability issues. He has maintained an interest in the creative arts and pursues creative writing alongside his legal work.
