Joanna joined YOKA | SMITH after working in Entertainment Law at HBO in their Clip Licensing Department.
During her time in law school, Joanna clerked at the Los Angeles Superior Court in the Family Law Division and participated in several clinics including the Immigration Clinic and Removal Defense Clinic.
Joanna also served as President of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, President of the International Law Society, and as Co-President of the Immigration Law Students Association.
She is also a proud past recipient of the Mexican American Bar Foundation Scholarship Award.
In her spare time, Joanna enjoys hiking, spending time at the beach, and cookouts with her family and pups.
