Matthew graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a B.A. degree in Political Science and went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Santa Clara School of Law. While at Santa Clara School of Law, Matthew was actively involved with Honors Moot Court External (“HMCE”). He had the privilege to represent Santa Clara School of Law at the National Sports Law Negotiation Competition and serve as the Director of HMCE.
Prior to joining Yoka & Smith, LLP, Matthew worked at Carroll, Kelly, Trotter and Franzen where he represented and defended healthcare providers and long term care communities in professional liability matters. He has also represented corporate clients in complex business litigation.
Time permitting, Matthew enjoys playing golf, attending concerts, and reading good books.
